Commitment to Christ

To no authority should the heart be bound.

Only on Christ, the Solid Rock, is fidelity to be found.

When we fully and willingly yield to Christ's control,

it is impossible for the archenemy to permeate the soul.

Falling under darkness's dominion doesn't have to be a deliberate choice.

Refusing to daily, consciously connect with Christ, we become spellbound by Satan's voice.

The absorption of self, overindulgence, and constant yielding to sin, apart from God, humanity cannot resist.

Yet with a vital connection with Him, self-surrendering day-by-day, with divine power, we are able to persist.

To eat the flesh and drink the blood of Jesus is metaphorical to say the least.

As the sustenance we intake daily for nourishment, on the word of God are we to feast.

Our heaven-sent teacher. The Author, Nourisher, and Sustainer of our eternal, spiritual life.

Belief, faith, and trust in Him will bring about hope, joy, peace, and light.

As our relationship with God matures, our characters will become more

healthy.

Revealing His meekness and lowliness of heart. Partakers of divine nature we will be.
