Excerpt from "Journey to Jesus"

To God, I cried out when a major disappointment afflicted me nearly 20 years ago.

In sincerity I threatened that if He didn’t reveal Himself to me, total rebellion I’d show.

Almost immediately He appeared on the scene. A series of challenges He brought me through.

Confident in His existence. I surrendered my life. Throughout the years, my Christianity grew

New in the faith. I had a lot to learn. When I prayed, I expected answers just as I petitioned.

Until the demise of a family member, unrequited love, and moving thousands of miles away to fulfill a mission.

My faith began to shrivel. I continually questioned God if He was truly leading.

And if so, why didn’t my loving Heavenly Father prevent my heart from bleeding?

Journey to Jesus is an unfeigned memoir of the discovery and development of a relationship of God with Us.

And of how He used the unwelcome and unpleasant circumstances of life to teach me that in Him I can trust.
