Our Ultimate Attainment

Worldly desires aren’t what the Christian should strive to attain

But seeking the kingdom of righteousness is to be our aim

In this world, we aren’t promised to get all that we aspire

Yet, we are assured to receive what is needed. God’s will is to be acquired

No need to worry out our life forces; the future we cannot discern

In every difficulty we encounter, there is a lesson to be learned

If we make the service and honor of God our number one goal

A peace surpassing all understanding will console our souls
